Toen ik dit papier voor het eerst zag, was het onmiddellijk liefde op het eerste gezicht, de kleuren, de tekeningen, ... prachtig gewoon. Imaginisce brengt steeds weer leuke collecties uit, en Polar Express is zeker een topper !
Dit is een simpel kaartje, de kaart zelf is uitgestanst met een Sizzix XL die, het ijsbeertje is gemaakt met de stempel van dezelfde collectie, maar wat je misschien hier niet goed ziet op de foto, maar het net zo leuk maakt is, dat ik het "ingekleurd" heb met flock, zodat het beertje er niet alleen knuffelachtig uitziet, maar ook zo aanvoelt. Gewoon met een lijmpen ingekleurd, en dan de flock erover. Wel even opletten, normaal gezien begin je altijd met de lichtste kleuren, hier is het beter om eerst de donkerste kleur te gebruiken, anders blijft het hangen in de lichte kleuren en dat is niet zo mooi, geloof me maar :)
Sometimes it just happens, you look at paper and it's love at first sight, the colors, the images, ... just everything about it looks so good, and that's just what happened when I first saw it. Imaginisce always brings out those cute collections, and this one (Polar Express) is at the top of my list !
This card is simple to make, the card itself is made with a Sizzix XL die, the bear is made with a stamp from the same collection, but what makes it so fun (this is not easy to see on the photo) is that I "colored" it with flock, so it doesn't only look cuddly, it feels like it too. Just take a gluepen, color it in and pour some flock over it, just a warning: normally you have to take a light color to start, here it's best to use a dark color first, otherwise the dark color "gets stuck" in the lighter color and that does not look good, trust me :)
